Well, a few friends have asked me what happened. Truth is, I've pretty much let the specifics fade at this point, and I'd rather not draw the lines back in just to tell what the picture was. Suffice it to say that I was feeling highly disrespected, and like my feelings and opinion didn't count for....beans....to my mother. She couldn't even take a suggestion to hear my brother out without getting angry at me and telling me that I couldn't tell her what to do. One day she got angry enough that she hit me....and after agonizing over the decision for so long that proved to be the final sign I needed. I said 'no more' and called Dad to get me. Now I am happy; I am treated like a human here.
